Born in Mexico to an artistic family, Sergio spent most of his childhood at the backstage of theatres. At the age of 10 he began his artistic career taking his first role as John in Peter Pan joining his mother’s theatre company in Mexico City. His first main role landed at the age of 11 when he was given the opportunity to play Pinocchio. After 5 years of playing various roles in Children’s fairy tale stories, he join the cast of the long running “Little Women” show in Mexico City playing the role of Laurie. During his youth as an actor in Mexico he worked for Television and Theatre before relocating to London at the age of 18. Sergio’s passion for writing developed when he Joined Group 64 Theatre in South London at the age of 20. He wrote and directed “Cats on the roof” and an adaptation of Gogol’s “Diary of a mad man” as well as several short plays and sketches. He continues to write from one-act plays to full-length musicals using the songs of artists such as "Chicago" and “Emmanuel”, Mexico’s most influential artist of the last 30 years. “Lodgers” was Sergio’s project which was performed at “The First 20 Minutes” show by Writer's Avenue in London's Soho Theatre, summer 2011.
